Authentic Yoga Nidra is conscious deep relaxation, where an hour session equals to three hours of restful sleep. It is a form of meditation that is suitable for everyone and you do not have to focus or do intensive thinking. The regular practice of Yoga Nidra brings about deep rejuvenation to the body and the mind returning the practitioner to a profound state of balance and well-being. It’s a scientifically proven method to heal from trauma, hormonal imbalances, chronic pain, mood disorders, and anything you want to heal from. Yoga Nidra heals core wounds amongst spiritual awakening. During the practice, all senses are engaged inwards. Hence, there will be no music, candles/incense, or anything that would bring awareness outside of the body. Yoga Nidra is a practice and the more you practice it, the more you heal. Anyone can do Yoga Nidra- even children. All you need to do is lay comfortably on floor (savasana or corpse pose) and let my voice guide you through the layers of your body and start healing.
I offer one-on-one and group Yoga Nidra sessions. Private sessions are customized to meet your health needs. I also teach public Yoga Nidra classes throughout the Bay Area and online, so please take a look at the workshops page. The sessions are typically 75-90 minutes in length.
